The Konark Sun Temple, located in the town of Konark in the Puri district of Odisha, India, is one of the most iconic and magnificent temples in the country. Built in the 13th century by King Narasimhadeva I of the Eastern Ganga Dynasty, the temple is dedicated to the Hindu Sun God, Surya.
