Introduction

Odisha’s “Golden Triangle” brings together its heritage capital Bhubaneswar, the iconic sun temple at Konark, and the sacred seaside town of Puri. In just three days you’ll experience centuries-old temples, beaches, crafts villages, and the unique ecosystem of Chilika Lake.

Highlights include Lingaraj, Rajarani & Mukteswar temples, Konark Sun Temple (UNESCO), Chandrabhaga & Ramchandi beaches, Puri Jagannath Temple & beach market, Raghurajpur crafts village, Pipli appliqué, Khandagiri–Udayagiri caves and Nandankanan Zoo (closed on Mondays).

Short Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Bhubaneswar → Konark → Puri (evening Darshan at Jagannath Temple)
Day 02: Puri local temples → Chilika (Satapada) dolphin cruise → Puri
Day 03: Puri → Sakhigopal, Raghurajpur, Pipli → Bhubaneswar city tour → Drop

Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival at Bhubaneswar / Konark / Puri

Pick-up from Bhubaneswar Airport/Railway Station in the morning and drive towards Puri. En-route visits: Dhauli (Buddhist Peace Pagoda), Hirapur 64-Yogini, Konark Sun Temple (Black Pagoda) and Chandrabhaga & Ramchandi sea-beaches. Check-in at hotel. In the evening, visit Lord Jagannath Temple (Darshan from outside for non-Hindus). Overnight at Puri.

Day 2 – Puri Temples & Chilika Lake (Satapada) Sightseeing

Start with sunrise at Puri Beach. After breakfast, visit Mausima, Sonar Gauranga and Gundicha temples. Later excursion to Satapada, Chilika Lake (Asia’s largest brackish water lagoon); take a boat to the sea-mouth to try spotting Irrawaddy Dolphins and visit Rajhans Island. Return to Puri. Optional stop at Alarnath Temple and evening beach market. Overnight at Puri.

Day 3 – Puri → Bhubaneswar; End of Tour

Check-out after breakfast and drive to Bhubaneswar via Sakhigopal, Raghurajpur Craft Village and Pipli (appliqué work). Bhubaneswar sightseeing covers Lingaraj, Rajarani, Mukteswar, Khandagiri & Udayagiri caves, and Nandankanan Zoological Park (Monday closed). Drop at Airport/Railway Station for onward journey.
